New SPAC: Arca Nova Acquisition Corp (ANAC.U) Files for $100M IPO

Arca Nova (NYSE:ANAC.U) has filed for a $100 million SPAC from a team that previously contemplated de-SPACing their own company before eventually opting to go with a regular way IPO. In 2012, Arca Nova CEO and Chairwoman Norma Ka Yin Chu founded DDC Enterprise, which produced digital cooking content and prepared packaged meals out of its base in Hong Kong. More

September 2026 Corporate Actions Analysis

September's corporate actions analysis showed a continued cooling in IPO issuance, but a strong increase in newly announced business combinations.  The month recorded 16 new merger announcements, more than double the seven announced in both July and August, while only five SPACs priced IPOs, down from 12 in August and 18 in July.
