Global Blockchain Acquisition Corp. priced its $150 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “GBBKU” Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
The new SPAC intends to combine with prospective targets that are focused on blockchain infrastructure, blockchain applications, and related technologies with an equity valuation ranging from $300 million to $3 billion. Global Blockchain is led by CEO and President Max Hooper, CFO Jonathon Morris and Chairman David Metcalf.
Total SPAC deal count for 2022 year-to-date is now 65. This offering is expected to close on Thursday, May 12.
