GSR II Meteora Acquisition Corp. (GSRMU) Prices $275M IPO

GSR II Meteora Acquisition Corp. announced the pricing of its $275 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “GSRMU” Friday, February 25.

The new SPAC intends to focus on high-growth businesses in the software, technology-enabled manufacturing and services, mobility and transportation sectors, as well as companies that help to address evolving environmental, social, and governance-related issues. This includes, but is not limited to, companies that are focused on: automation components and systems, robotics, mobility, and autonomous motion, additive manufacturing, next-generation transportation, and technologies for clean food, water, and air. GSRM is led by co-CEOs Gus Garcia and Lewis Silberman, President Anantha Ramamurti and CFO Joseph Tonnos.

Total SPAC deal count for 2022 year-to-date is now 43. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, March 1.


Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is acting as the sole underwriter for the initial public offering. Latham & Watkins LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Loeb & Loeb LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel.  Grant Thornton LLP serves as an auditor.  Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
