Athena Technology Acquisition Corp. II (ATEK.U) Prices $250M IPO

Athena Technology Acquisition Corp. II announced the pricing of its $250 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “ATEK.U” Friday, December 10.

The new SPAC intends to focus on businesses in the fintech, enterprise, deep tech, and health-tech industries that have powerful and differentiated relationships with their customers. Athena Technology II is led by CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors Isabelle Freidheim, CFO Anna Apostolova, and President Kirthiga Reddy.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 584. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, December 14.


Citigroup is acting as the sole book-running manager of the offering. Roberts & Ryan Investments, Inc., Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC and Tigress Financial Partners LLC are acting as co-managers of the offering. McDermott Will & Emery LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Shearman & Sterling LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
