Latest SPAC News: Boxed acquires MaxDelivery and Revelation Biosciences announces creation and appointments to scientific advisory board


Boxed Expands into Fast, Fresh Grocery Delivery with Acquisition of MaxDelivery

Boxed, an e-commerce grocery platform which sells bulk consumables and licenses its e-commerce software to enterprise retailers, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire MaxDelivery, one of New York’s first on-demand grocery delivery services.

The transaction is expected to close in December 2021, subject to certain undisclosed financial terms and customary closing conditions.

Seven Oaks Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ:SVOK) entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Boxed on June 14.

Revelation Biosciences Inc. Announces Creation and Appointments to Scientific Advisory Board

Revelation Biosciences Inc., a clinical-stage life sciences company that is focused on the development of immunologic-based therapies for the prevention and treatment of disease, today announced it has created a scientific advisory board and appointed Catherine Blish M.D., Ph.D., and Paul Spearman M.D. to its scientific advisory board.

Revelation recently announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Petra Acquisition, Inc. (NASDAQ: PAIC).
