GigCapital5,Inc. (GIA.U) Prices $200M IPO

GigCapital5,Inc. announced the pricing of its $200 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “GIA.U” Friday, September 24.

The Company will seek companies in the technology, media, and telecommunications, aerospace and defense, advanced medical equipment, intelligent automation and sustainable industries anywhere in the world that embrace today’s digital transformation and intelligent automation as a competitive advantage. GigCapital5 is led by Executive Chairman Dr. Avi S. Katz, President, CEO, and Secretary Dr. Raluca Dinu, and Treasurer and CFO Brad Weightman.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 440. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, September 28.


Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, and William Blair & Company, L.L.C. are the joint book running managers for the offering.  DLA Piper LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. BPM LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
