SOAR Technology Acquisition Corp. announced the pricing of its $200 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “FLYA.U” Thursday, September 16.
The new SPAC intends to combine with a tech-enabled business based in the U.S. or Canada with a valuation between $1 billion and $5 billion. SOAR Technology is led by CEO and Chairman Joe Poulin, EVP and CFO Vicky Bathija, and EVP and General Counsel Mark J. Coleman.
Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 435. This offering is expected to close on Monday, September 20.
J.P. Morgan, RBC Capital Markets, and BTIG served as the joint book-running managers on the offering. Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with White & Case LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. Marcum LLP serves as auditor.
