PHP Ventures Acquisition Corp. announced the pricing of its $50 million IPO and its shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “PPHPU” Wednesday, August 11.
The new SPAC intends to focus on consumer-facing companies with a significant Africa presence or a compelling Africa potential, which complements the expertise of the Company’s management team. PHP Ventures is led by CEO and Chairman Marcus Choo Yeow Ngoh, CFO Garry Richard Stein, and CSO Vanitha Mani Thevaratnam.
Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 407. This offering is expected to close on Friday, August 13.
EF Hutton, division of Benchmark Investments LLC, served as the sole book-running manager on the offering.
