CleanTech Acquisition Corp. (CLAQU) Prices $150M IPO

CleanTech Acquisition Corp.  announced the pricing of its $150 million IPO and its shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “CLAQU” Thursday, July 15.

The new SPAC aims to combine with a disruptive mission-driven target that aims to contribute towards shifting the world away from carbon dependency and facilitating a greener future. CleanTech is led by CEO Eli Spero, CFO Richard Fitzgerald, COO Louis Buffalino, CTO Ankhur Dhanuka, and Chairman Jon Najarian.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 370. This offering is expected to close on Monday, July 19.


Chardan is serving as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Loeb & Loeb LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Cooley LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
