Brazil’s Embraer SA is reportedly in talks to merge Eve Urban Air Mobility, its electric vehicle takeoff and landing unit, with Zanite Acquisition Corp., people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg.
The SPAC is seeking to raise new equity to support a transaction, and said the deal is set to value the combined entity at about $2 billion.
Brazil’s Embraer SA surged as much as 15% Thursday after confirming the talks with Zanite.
