Warburg Pincus Capital Corporation I—A (WPCA.U) Prices $250M IPO

Warburg Pincus Capital Corporation I—A announced the pricing of its $250 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “WPCA.U,” Friday, March 5.

The new company aims to combine with target with strong fundamental growth that could benefit from its management experience. Warburg Pincus I-A is led by Chairman and CEO Christopher H. Turner and CFO Tara O’Neill.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 222. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, March 9.


Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Evercore Group L.L.C. are acting as joint bookrunners of the offering. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Davis Polk & Wardwell serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
