Catcha Investment Corp announced the pricing of its upsized $275 million IPO this morning and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “CHAA.U” Friday, February 12.
The new company aims to combine with a digital media, fintech or technology company in the Asia-Pacific region. Catcha is led by Chairman and CEO Patrick Grove, President Luke Elliott and CFO Wai Kit Wong.
Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 141 with $42.5 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Wednesday, February 17.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is serving as sole book-running manager for this offering. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. Marcum LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
