Prospector Capital Corp. (PRSRU) Prices Upsized $300M IPO

Prospector Capital Corp. announced the pricing of its upsized $300 million IPO this evening and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “PRSRU” Friday, January 8.

The new company aims to combine with a company with advanced and highly differentiated solutions for the technology sector. Prospector is led by CEO Derek Aberle alongside CFO and Director Nick Stone.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 17 with $4.3 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, January 12.


Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. White & Case LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company LLC is acting as trustee.
