Andina Acquisition Corp. III (NASDAQ:ANDA) announced in a filing this afternoon that it will now hold their special meeting to vote on an extension of the SPAC’s transaction deadline at 4 pm ET, October 30.

At this meeting, shareholders are to vote on whether to extend the company’s transaction deadline from October 31 to January 31, 2021.

Andina has also extended its redemption deadline from Monday, October 26th, to 5 pm today, October 28, giving any shareholders just under two hours should they choose to reverse an earlier decision to redeem.

In it, Andina noted the parties have made progress towards a definitive business combination agreement and EMMAC products have been cleared for distribution in Switzerland and cultivation in Spain.
