Apollo Strategic Growth Capital (APSG.U) Prices $750M IPO

Apollo Strategic Growth Capital announced the pricing of its $750 million IPO tonight and the units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “APSG.U” tomorrow, Friday, October 2nd.

This new company aims to combine with a company that is leading an industry with secular tailwinds and multiple avenues to growth. Apollo Strategic Growth is led by CEO and Director Sanjay Patel, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer James Crossen and Executive Chairman Scott Kleinman.

Total SPAC deal count for 2020 year-to-date is now 125 with $47.6 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, October 6 .


Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is acting as joint bookrunner and representative of the underwriters and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are acting as joint bookrunners. Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with White & Case LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company LLC is acting as trustee.
