Upcoming Votes: The SPAC Calendar is Heavy
by Kristi Marvin on 2019-11-15 at 3:51am

The SPAC Calendar for votes is HEAVY. In light of the busy schedule, a summary of upcoming dates has been provided below.

We have two votes and the closing of a tender offer today (OPES, TPGH, TKKS, respectively), but on deck next week we have Big Rock Partners (BRPA) and GigCapital (GIG).  GigCapital, in particular, should be an interesting vote given all of the various Rights agreements and backstops they’ve arranged to aid in the completion of their combination with Kaleyra. Keep in mind, Gig has extended their tender offer deadline for their Rights to end of day, November 22, 2019 (one minute past 11:59PM), the same day as their completion vote.

Also keep in mind that we have one other SPAC that should be setting a vote date in December as well, but hasn’t yet and is not listed below – Regalwood Global Energy (RWGE).  Regalwood is coming up on their deadline of December 5th, but has not filed a preliminary proxy to-date.  That’s cutting it close.  Hopefully we get some news either way today or next week.

You can click any name below and it will bring you to the most recent preliminary proxy or the definitive proxy.  Or in the case of TKK Symphony, the tender offer document.
