Vote Now to be Held Friday, Nov. 2nd, at 4:00PM.
Matlin & Partners Acquisition Corp. (MPAC), announced early this morning that their shareholder vote to complete their business combination with U.S. Well Services (scheduled for today), has been been adjourned until tomorrow.
MPAC, like Federal Street, is citing “market conditions” as the reason for the adjournment and now intends to hold the special meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday (tomorrow). Due to this new time, results will most likely not be forthcoming until very late or over the weekend or even Monday. Which is maybe the real reason why they moved the date? Friday afternoons are always a little suspicious…
Let’s hope that’s not the case since it’s already been a challenging week for SPAC votes. We’ll update as information becomes available.
